Duties and Responsibilities Dental assistant. Dental assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, and often work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients. They make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair, prepare them for treatment, and obtain their dental records.

Education
The education needed for this job is prospective dental assistants must complete some form of training and, in many states, earn licensure and/or national certification.

I would not like to be a dental assistant because your helping someone that is more smarter then you so your like just helping him instead of the patient.
