The quote is telling us that the right thing to do is to choose the right. Another thing that its telling us is that if you choose the right you will always do the right thing. You wont want to choose the wrong because that isnt the right thing to do. That is what i believe Alex's quote is telling us, to always choose the right because its the right thing to always do.
